Rubber O-ring is a toric joint, it is a mechanical gasket in
the shape of a torus. Rubber O-rings, NBR o rings, silicone O-ring, viton o
rings, PTFE o-rings, nitrile rubber O-rings, silicone rubber O-rings, fluorine
rubber O-rings, teflon O-rings, they are a loop of elastomer with a round
cross-section, designed to be seated in a groove and compressed during assembly
between two parts, creating a seal at the interface.
